The party evenings create an atmosphere like no other, transforming typical hotel stays into memorable experiences. Activities range from themed nights, like the Mexican fiesta, to lively disco breakfasts that keep the energy high.
While the party vibe is fantastic, the noise can be overwhelming, especially during full events that extend into the early hours. the lack of air conditioning in some rooms results in uncomfortable heat, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.

Had a great time with friends! We explored the beautiful coastline and enjoyed the local nightlife. The heated pool was a highlight, and the breakfast spread, especially the veggie options, was delicious. Staff were incredibly friendly and made our stay memorable.
The only downside was the triple room being extremely hot—fans just didn’t cut it. Without air conditioning, it was really uncomfortable to sleep.

Quirky hotel, friendly staff, with an excellent breakfast that was both hearty and vegetarian-friendly, making for a pleasant stay with great proximity to local pubs and restaurants.
Couldn't find a single fault without adding further information.

Just an appropriate option for a transient visit in Shanklin with the best value. The breakfast was amazing with a great buffet selection. Try the full English breakfast. it's the best!

great spot for city walks and coastal views nearby
During our stay, we loved the short walk to the stunning Shanklin seafront, which was just 600 meters away, and the nearby Rylstone Gardens offered a perfect spot to relax in nature. the staff made us feel welcome and remembered our names, which added a personal touch to our experience.

I didn't realize the Nightingale was the Isle of Wight's famous Goth hotel when I booked. From the moment we arrived, Dino and his staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The accessible downstairs room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, although lacking a sea view, which was expected since I can't do stairs. The decor really stands out, especially at night with all the candles lit. It gives off a magical, almost spooky atmosphere. Breakfast had a fantastic selection of teas, coffees, and juices. the food was tasty but just lacked a bit of variety in options for hot meals. The small garden leads to the gorgeous Clifftop Walk with breathtaking views of the bay. My only concerns relate to the lift being out of order, which made navigating the hotel a bit difficult. Plus, I wish breakfast offered a wider range of choices beyond what was available. Would definitely recommend it for those looking for something different!

The room was really comfy with a stunning sea view that made mornings special. Bed was super cozy, and I slept like a baby. Only downside was that it got really hot at night. fans just weren’t enough to cool things down. But honestly, the view and comfort made up for it!
